Guiding Entrepreneurs Through Metamorphosis in The Blue Mountains

Nestled in the heart of Thornbury, The Monarch & Co. is an entrepreneurial ecosystem accelerating growth, fostering meaningful community, and amplifying thought leadership through publishing.

Founded by Amanda and Kiel, the business began back in 2019 and has undergone its own rapid metamorphosis. Today, it includes the Monarch Momentum business membership, quarterly accelerators, a boutique publishing house, and most recently, a brick-and-mortar headquarters designed to bring community and collaboration to life.

From One-to-One to Monarch Momentum

The business quickly recognized the need to serve many, leading to the creation of their signature program, Monarch Business Academy (MBA). This program gave entrepreneurs the tools to build, grow, scale, and launch their businesses.
The next natural evolution was Monarch Momentum, a membership launched on Women’s Day in March 2023. This community model was a direct response to participants who completed MBA and asked, "Now what? How do I get more?"
Monarch Momentum focuses on consistent accountability and growth, offering rapid updates to adapt to the constantly changing business landscape, especially with the rise of AI. Members range from those just starting out to established business owners generating multiple six and seven figures, all working toward their next level of momentum.
The membership also includes Quarterly Launch Accelerators, which help members diversify their revenue by focusing on five different revenue streams – ensuring entrepreneurs build a resilient, full business ecosystem rather than focusing on a single component.

The Author’s Journey: The Monarch & Co Publishing House

The vision to start a publishing house was initially a 10-year goal, but a powerful dream accelerated the timeline and brought it to life far sooner than planned. Just 60 days after that vivid dream, The Monarch & Co. Publishing House was created, rooted in purpose to help entrepreneurs elevate their thought leadership and create a ripple effect through meaningful books.
The first catalyst was Amanda’s own book, ‘The Monarch; The Signature 8 Method for Launching Your Dream Business with Clarity, Confidence and Love’ published in 2021, to make entrepreneurial knowledge more accessible during the pandemic. This was followed by the collaborative book ‘One Decision Away’, where members of the Monarch community shared their stories, creating a “Chicken Soup for the Soul, but for business” effect.
The Monarch & Co Publishing is deliberately niche-focused, serving entrepreneurs who want to write non-fiction books to support their business, but is defined by its collaborative approach.
“It’s more than just writing a book,” Amanda says. “We wanted the publishing house to feel like a journey that an artist would go on – the author’s journey.”
The journey is as important as the book itself. Authors experience a deep personal and professional transformation, often described as a Masterclass in Life. The impact extends beyond the individual, strengthening their business, amplifying their voice, and creating a ripple effect through their community. For entrepreneurs, a book becomes a powerful, tangible framework for translating lived experience and expertise into lasting influence, far beyond what a single conversation could ever hold.

Monarch HQ: A Home for Entrepreneurs in Thornbury

The newest evolution is Monarch HQ, a physical space in Thornbury that serves as the heart of the community. The Headquarters was a long-time vision to bring the online community together for in-person connection.
“It was always the vision to have a space where we could bring the community together,” Kiel shares. “Now we can see clients here, host our workshops, our retreats, our mastermind days, have writing workshops, and collaborate with local shops and restaurants.”

The multi-use space is now set up to host workshops, pop-up shops and events, photoshoots, co-working days (CEO Days), and even includes podcast equipment for recording.

Local Roots, Global Reach

While their members dial in from around the world, The Monarch & Co. is deeply rooted in The Blue Mountains.
“The local love is strong here,” Amanda notes. “Everyone is so supportive – they’re willing to collaborate. We love it here, and we also love having this space to be able to give back that support as well.”
Part of the HQ’s mission is to open its doors to pop-up shops and markets, creating meaningful collaboration with local business owners. Guided by the belief that “a rising tide lifts all boats” this commitment helps strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and supports collective growth.
Ultimately, Amanda and Kiel are driven by the belief shared by Jane Goodall: "One small change can create a beautiful impact. It's this ripple effect."
